What to know about your wrap

Color change wraps

  • A wrap is not paint.
  • Original color won't show with doors, hood, and trunk closed.
  • Door jambs, under the hood, and the cab/bed gap aren't included in a standard color change. We can add them on request.
  • The installer may use inlays, overlays, and seams to keep the film durable and within its limits.

Commercial wraps

  • Built for advertising, viewed from 10 ft or more. A wrap is not paint.
  • Edges, corners, and deep recesses may not be wrapped, so vehicle color may show. Include it in the design.
  • Door handles, antennas, and mirrors are not wrapped unless requested.
  • Window perf is laminated with optically clear film.

Caring for your new wrap

  • First 48 hours: don't wash. After that, wash about every 2 weeks.
  • Best: waterless wash for light dirt. Hand wash first if it is very dirty.
  • Hand wash: pre-rinse, wash top to bottom with mild soap (pH 5 to 9) and a soft cloth, rinse, then squeegee and dry with microfiber.
  • Avoid: brush car washes, and spraying a pressure washer at the edges.
  • Wax: okay if it has no petroleum distillates. Not on matte finishes.
Bird droppings, sap, bugs

Clean as soon as you can. Soak with hot soapy water, rinse, then spot clean with isopropyl alcohol on a clean rag. Test harsher chemicals on a hidden spot first.

Matte finish

Use a waterless wash made for matte, with no wax. Spot clean with a 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water mix, then hot soapy water if needed.
